About Plantedshala
Every time we meet in practice, it feels a little like sharing a quiet cup of tea with old friends—unhurried, present, and real.
Plantedshala is a gathering place for those seeking mindful, meditative practices in community. Whether you're just beginning or returning to your inner path, you're welcome here.
I’m Bronson—a yoga and meditation teacher, paramedic, and medical student with a passion for integrative healing. My path has been anything but linear: from the high-stakes world of emergency medicine to long hours of quiet personal study in yoga, meditation, and the contemplative traditions. Through it all, one truth has stayed constant—we all need places to pause, breathe, and reconnect.
I created Plantedshala in that spirit. A space where we can practice together—not to fix or perfect ourselves, but to remember who we are underneath the noise.
The Sanskrit word “shala” means home or dwelling place. “Planted” honors our connection to the earth—our rootedness in nature, breath, and the present moment.
Together, Plantedshala is an invitation:
Root in stillness. Flow with intention. Blossom in community.
The offerings here—guided meditations, reflections, gentle yoga, and live community events—are all created with care, grounded in lived experience, and infused with the belief that spiritual practice should be accessible, welcoming, and real.
At Plantedshala, you'll find:
Freely offered group meditations (like the Sunday Wind Down)
A podcast to carry the practice off the mat and into life
A Substack newsletter with reflections, guided practices, and updates
Private sessions and paid offerings, for those wanting to go deeper
A calendar of live events, both virtual and local
And perhaps most importantly—a community of like-hearted people walking the path of mindfulness, healing, and intentional living.
As someone who's stood in the tension between modern medicine and ancient practices, I believe healing isn't just clinical—it’s emotional, spiritual, and communal.
This work is a way for me to bridge both worlds. To offer something grounded, heartfelt, and sustaining to anyone who feels overwhelmed, uprooted, or just in need of a pause.
If that speaks to you, I’d love for you to stay connected.
